Locked out of a OnePlus, OPPO or realme

Before you start: You must control the Google Account and, where applicable, the brand account on the device.

OnePlus, OPPO and realme share a common software base, so they behave alike. Google's Factory Reset Protection is the main blocker, with a brand account layer that appears in some regions and not others.
Identify which account the screen wants
After a reset you may see Google's account prompt, a brand account prompt, or both. Which appears depends on the region the phone was sold in and what was signed in.
Read the exact wording. A OnePlus Account, OPPO ID or realme account is not the same thing as your Google Account and has its own recovery.
The route
- Recover the Google Account first — it is the blocker in most cases.
- If the screen names a brand account, recover that separately on the brand's own site.
- If the phone still opens, sign out of both accounts before you reset it.
- Erase, then sign in at setup with the same accounts.
These brands' regional variants differ in firmware. A phone imported from another region may not accept local carrier features, and cross-flashing firmware to fix that usually makes things worse.
