The watch could also possibly be released in autumn 2016 or early 2017, depending on whether OnePlus plans to reveal the smartwatch at MWC next year.
The body

The watch has a sleek, minimalist design. It’s rectangular with rounded corners and has no home button or knobs. The case is made of aluminum and is available in two colors—gunmetal gray or champagne gold—which both look very sharp.
Internal

The watch comes in two sizes, with three different colour options for each size. The smaller watch is 39mm and comes in ceramic white or black colours. Both watches come with a magnetic charger that attaches to your fridge or other magnetic surfaces so you never have to hunt for a charging cord again.
The ceramic watch is scratch-resistant and offers water resistance up to 30 metres. While you can wear it in a shower or bath, you should take it off before swimming or diving. It also doesn’t come with built-in GPS capabilities. The silk white model features stainless steel bezels and a navy blue silicone strap that is stain-resistant but may turn discoloured over time. This version has water resistance up to 50 metres and does come with built-in GPS capabilities.
The screen
The Oneplus smartwatch has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels and a pixel density of 326ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has an ambient light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen automatically. The watch is also water-resistant up to 50 meters. It can be submerged in up to 5 feet of water for about 30 minutes without any adverse effects on its functionality. The watch supports Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and NFC, while it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 chip set with CPU clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with 512MB RAM, 8GB ROM (internal storage), GPS (with GLONASS support) and gyroscope sensors . There’s no heart rate monitor though, but considering the price tag of $249…
Oneplus Smartwatch design
The Oneplus smartwatch has a sleek, minimalist design that is sure to appeal to anyone looking for a stylish and sophisticated timepiece. The watch is available in two colors: black and white. The black model features a black dial with white hands, while the white model features a white dial with black hands. Both models come with a standard 20mm strap.
The front of the Oneplus smartwatch has one circular button located at the bottom of the display which you can use to activate various functions on your device. On either side of this button are two small indentations that serve as finger rests when using the touchscreen display. When you scroll through menus, notifications, or other screens on the Oneplus smartwatch, these indentations will guide your fingers to help keep them from obscuring any content.
On the back of the Oneplus smartwatch is an optical heart rate sensor used for measuring heart rate without requiring contact with skin.
The USB-C port found at the bottom edge of the face serves both as a charger and data transfer point so you can sync data from your phone wirelessly or attach headphones if desired.

The Oneplus smartwatch is set to release in early 2020 and will cost $299. For that price, you’ll get a bevy of features not found on other smartwatches. According to reports, one of its biggest selling points will be that it’s able to keep up with all your notifications from your smartphone. It should be able to show you texts, emails and even social media messages (like WhatsApp or Facebook) straight on your wrist! If you get a phone call, you’ll also be able to take it directly from your smartwatch – although we’re not sure how you’d use it if you didn’t have Bluetooth headphones…
