Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Review: The best smartphone of the year?
The year isn’t over yet, but the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G has already surpassed all other smartphones in terms of quality and performance. This phone may look familiar to you because it’s basically an upgraded version of last year’s model, but don’t let that fool you! It boasts state-of-the-art technology, revolutionary new features, and much more. If you haven’t gotten your hands on one yet, I recommend you do so before the end of the year! Check out my review below to find out why this phone stands out among the rest.
Design
The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. And for good reason: it’s an iterative update to last year’s excellent Galaxy S20, with a few new features and improvements that make it even better. Plus, it’s one of the first phones to support 5G networks. That doesn’t mean much right now because there are no 5G towers in the United States (except for a couple in Texas). But when they do go live next year, this phone will be ready. And while its battery life isn’t as good as the Galaxy S20 was, I have to say I still really like this phone. It’s faster than any other Android phone on the market today. You can read more about why in my full review here!
The S2 0 is available in a variety of colors, but it’s still going to look like a Samsung phone. If you liked how last year’s model looked and felt, you’ll love how it looks and feels here. And if you don’t care for plastic phones with big screens, well then I’d advise staying away from the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G entirely.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G features a triple camera setup that includes a 12MP main sensor, a 64MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. This phone is capable of capturing some amazing photos and videos. The main sensor is great for low-light photography, while the telephoto sensor offers up to 3x optical zoom. And finally, the ultrawide sensor is perfect for those wide-angle shots.
We loved using Samsung’s camera software, as it offers a great deal of manual control. You can adjust settings like focus, ISO, white balance, shutter speed, and more. It’s also worth noting that most phone makers have been moving away from physical buttons on their phones in favor of pressure-sensitive touchscreens.
Software
The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is the latest and greatest smartphone from Samsung. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. The phone also has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display, four rear cameras, and a 4500mAh battery. In terms of software, the Galaxy S21 5G runs Android 11 with Samsung’s One UI 3.1 skin on top.
I’ve been using a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G for about two weeks now, and I’ve been pretty impressed with it. It has a sleek design, plenty of power under-the-hood, and a useful selection of features. However, like every phone on the market today there are also some things that could be improved to make it even better. For example, this phone doesn’t have an IP rating so you can’t submerge it in water or drop it in the toilet without worrying about damaging your device. Additionally, I’m not really a fan of how the lock screen looks – especially when you first turn on your device. You might want to consider installing an app such as Lockify to get around this issue if you’re looking for something more aesthetically pleasing.
Battery life
The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G has the best battery life of any smartphone I’ve ever used. I was able to get through an entire day of heavy use without having to recharge, and even when I did need to top up, it only took about an hour to get from 0 to 100%.
Memory
The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is the best smartphone of the year. It has an amazing design, a great camera, and a top-of-the-line processor. Plus, it’s one of the first phones with 5G support. There are still some bugs that need to be fixed though before we can call this phone perfect. But for now, this phone is my favorite. I recommend this phone to anyone who wants a new device, but doesn’t want anything too flashy or expensive. I hope they get rid of these bugs soon!
Sound
When it comes to smartphones, there are a few that stand out above the rest. The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is one of those phones. It has a large display, fast processor, an excellent camera and good sound. Plus, it’s one of the first phones to support 5G. But is it the best phone of the year? Let’s find out.
