Eligibility

  • Postpaid: device paid off and the account in good standing, plus the published service period.
  • Not reported lost, stolen, or fraudulent.
  • Request from the account holder.

Steps

  1. Request inside the T-Mobile app or site
  2. Restart on the new SIM only after they confirm

Typical wait: A few days after eligibility. Fee: No extra unlock fee if eligible. Support: 1-800-866-2453.
