Find the IMEI without installing anything

The number the carrier will ask for. It is already on the phone.

1. 01

   Dial *#06#. The IMEI appears on screen. On a dual-SIM phone, write down which number belongs to which slot.

2. 02

   iPhone: Settings → General → About. Android: Settings → About phone → Status, or the SIM status page.

3. 03

   The sticker in the box can be wrong if the box was swapped. Trust the phone over the box.

4. 04

   Send the carrier the IMEI they ask for. Do not post the full number on the board.
