The Google account after a reset
Factory reset protection asks for the Google account that was on the phone. That is not a SIM lock.
- 01
After a reset, Android can ask for the last Google account that was signed in. Have that email and password, or the account recovery that Google itself offers.
- 02
Removing the account before the reset, in Settings → Passwords & accounts, is the clean path when you still have the phone unlocked.
- 03
A carrier unlock does not know your Google password. USB debugging does not remove the account.
- 04
If you cannot sign in because the account is not yours, stop. Do not look for a tool that skips the check.
Official carrier and settings procedures only. This is not a bypass, IMEI, or stolen-phone service.
